            Students at Glen Rock High School were high functioning special education students that required 

a teaching assistant in general education and teaching assistant supported classes.  A higher level of 

educational expertise for elevated academic rigor was required to provide students with notable 

academic accommodations along with personal commitment.  The care and dedication put forth in this 

position lead to greater classroom management, students that were more diligent, and higher overall 

student success.

            Practice plans were developed and implemented with the specific intent to propel athlete’s skills, prepare for high level competitive atmospheres, build team community, and prepare for success.  Being that this was a competitive environment, it required an extensive time commitment from both athletes and coaches.  The main goal for each team was to support young adolescent females in learning sportsmanship, the importance of working on a team, higher moral decision-making skills, and how to become a well-rounded member of society.
